This dress is really well designed and if you had any worries like me. I can alleviate them for you.
First, the bottom skirt isn’t as see though as it looks in the pictures. You can’t see my legs through the bottom mesh part. The satin ruching section covers the bottom well + a couple inches on me, so no worries about flashing anyone. It’s also very adjustable. It’s easy to pull up or down.
And it’s easy to tuck in some of the bottom skirt if it’s too long depending on the height of heels you’re wearing. I’ll be wearing downtown and didn’t want it to drag the ground, so I was able to raise the hem a couple inches, but tucking it into the ruched skirt area. The mesh tummy area also doesn’t look too risqué.
Also this dress is a really soft and comfortable stretch satin. It’s extremely comfortable. Hugs the body well without being too tight. The micro mesh is soft as well, the straps are also stretchy which makes you feel like you’re not wearing them. The bandeau doesn’t have too much cowl, so you don’t have to worry about bending over. It’s also easy to adjust.
Also the bow is angled a little bit, so it sits really nicely on the hips. It’s very well designed and will stay structured and not flop over. A real feat.
I really love this dress. Great job Oh Polly!
